New Profile Maps - Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Japan, and South Korea

New profile sections have been added to track progress on finds in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Japan, and South Korea.  These countries were specifically requested by people using the site and more countries will be added in the future.

As with any brand new section, if you'd like to start displaying these maps on your geocaching.com profile, you'll need to re-copy/paste your profile's HTML code from the mygeocachingprofile.com "Preview and Export Profile" page over to your geocaching.com profile.

If you have any questions or problems with the new features - Contact Us!

Lab Caches

Geocaching.com is experimenting with a cache type called "Lab Caches" and although these caches are not yet integrated into geocaching.com and are not listed in the My Finds PQ, they do already count toward your total find count.  Mygeocachingprofile.com now has a setting on the Build My Profile page where you can specify how many Lab Caches you have found.  They will then count towards your total finds and will be shown in your Cache Types I've Found profile section.  Lab caches will not be integrated into the other profile sections until geocaching.com moves forward and incorporates them into the main site and the My Finds PQ.

Update your Lab Cache find count by going to the Build My Profile page and then scrolling to the Additional Caching Information section.  Enter the number of lab caches you have found and click the Save Changes button.  Then, upload your My Finds PQ zip file to update your profile images.  If you have any problems or questions, please Contact Us.

Updated Canadian, Australian, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, and South African Maps

The Canadian, Australian, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, and South African maps have been updated with a new map view.  This change was necessary because the third party mapping service we were using is going to be shut down in the near future.  The new maps are now totally under our control.  They also are a bit larger and easier to read.

These new maps will be available the next time you upload your My Finds PQ zip file to the site.  If you have any questions or problems, please Contact Us.
