Moving or traveling caches change location with each new finder. The finder takes the cache with them, rehides it and updates the coordinates on the cache homepage. These caches don't have a unique type on geocaching.com, but the cache page usually explains their behavior.
Since you might have found a moving cache in your hometown and now it's half way across the world, we've started to exclude these caches from the new "My Caching Radius" section. Please see our bookmark list of moving caches to find out which are excluded. If we're missing any, feel free to Contact Us and we'll add them to the list!
